If you wanted to learn how to do something, what would you do? You’d probably first look the subject up online. Depending on the complexity of what you wanted to do, you might even take a class. Say you’re a painter and you’d like to play with another medium, how hard, do you think, it would be to find one of those classes right in your city? The opportunity to expand our horizons is all around us.
I took a cold wax/oil class from Cindy Walton, a wonderful artist. I loved this class! I also traveled 50 miles to watch a demo on dirty pour technique. This was a lot of fun and even though the artist demonstrated on small canvasses I was able to transfer the technique to the large canvasses I generally use. The point is: Get out there and play! It’s good for you!
